Carlos César Bof Bufon

Head of the Nano and Microfabrication Division at LNNano / CNPEM. He graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Viçosa and completed a PhD in Physics from the University of Düsseldorf in Germany. He has a specialization in the area of Strategic Management of Technological Innovation by UNICAMP. He was coordinator of the electronic components research group at the “Institut fuer Integrative Nanowissenschaften” of the “Leibniz-Institut fuer Festkoerper und Werkstoffforschung Dresden”, Germany. He was an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Chemnitz in Germany. Since 2015 he has been lead for the Sibratec Network for Innovation in Nanotechnology at the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI). He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute and of the Deliberative Council of the Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute. He is a CNPq 1D researcher since 2018, Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and visiting professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
