Alisson Ronieri Cadore

Researcher in the Micro and Nanofabrication Division working on the development and application of ultrathin devices based on 2D materials and van der Waals heterostructures. Bachelor’s in physics from “Centro Universitário Franciscano” (2011), Master´s Degree (2013) and PhD (2017) in physics from “Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais”, with a PhD research internship at UC Santa Barbara (USA). During his master´s studies, he worked on the development of 2D-based device for gas sensors. During his doctoral studies, developed 2D hybrid devices for nanoelectronics and sensing applications. Research Associate at Cambridge Graphene Centre (2017-2020) in the UK and at MackGraphe (2020-2022) in Sao Paulo working on fabrication and application of 2D-based devices for optoelectronics and nanophotonics applications. He is expert on fabrication of nanodevices, van der Waals heterostructures and his main interests include electrical and optical characterization and application of novel 2D materials.
