Rubia Figueredo Gouveia

Graduated in Chemistry from the State University of Maringá in 2003. PhD in Sciences, with major in Physical Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP; 2010). She was received the Air Marshal Casimiro Montenegro Filho Award, presented by the Brazilian Presidency’s Secretariat for Strategic Affairs, with the best thesis in the field of Chemistry (2010). She completed a post-doctorate at King’s College London in 2012 and at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2013. She coordinated research, innovation and development projects in partnership with a multinational company, between 2017 and 2020. Currently, her research activities involve the production of polymeric nanocomposites based on biopolymers, especially nanocellulose; advanced material characterization by X-ray microtomography and probe scanning microscopy; dispersions stability and functional porous materials.
