LNNano / CNPEM Researcher in the area of ​​synthesis and advanced characterization of nanomaterials with high control of shape and size. He graduated in Technological Chemistry with Emphasis in Materials Science in 2009 from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos (IQSC) – University of São Paulo (USP). He obtained a Master’s (2012) and a Doctorate (2017) in Sciences (Main Area: Physical Chemistry) from the Chemistry Program at IQSC-USP, working on the synthesis of core / shell nanostructures with magnetic and optical properties. He has experience in the field of synthesis of colloidal nanomaterials with high control of shape and size including metallic nanoparticles, metal oxides, semiconductors and perovskites. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Chicago (Prof. Dmitri Talapin Group) in 2014-2015 and 2020 studying the synthesis of quantum dots for applications in optical devices and out-of-balance self-organization processes. He has a post-doctorate at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (LNNano / CNPEM) in the area of ​​synthesis, characterization and processes of self-organization in equilibrium and out-of-equilibrium. Currently interested in research in the field of nanotechnology with a focus on energy, especially in the synthesis, self-organization and advanced characterization of nanomaterials including new techniques of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), pair distribution function obtained by diffraction electron (ePDF), HRTEM / HRSTEM image processing and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) techniques.
