3D PRINTING

Two additive 3D printing technologies are available. The first (FDM) is based on the fusion of a polymeric matrix filament, allowing structures to be obtained quickly and with lower resolution. The second technology (SLA) consists of printing a structure based on the solidification of a photopolymer resin by a laser operating at UV.

Equipment

3D printer – Fdm Sethi 3D (AiP 3D Printer)

  • Technology: Fused Deposition Molding Extrusion Printer (FDM);
  • Stainless steel nozzle with 0.4mm outlet;
  • Layer thickness: 0.05 – 0.3 mm;
  • Print area: 220mm x 210mm x 200mm (W x H x D);
  • Filament diameter: 1.75 mm;
  • Filament materials: ABS, PLA, PETG, among others on request.

3D printer – Formslab (Form2)

  • Technology: Stereolithography (SLA);
  • Removal Mechanism: Sliding Cleaner Removal Process;
  • Automatic resin filling system;
  • Layer thickness: 25 – 100 µm;
  • Print area: 220mm x 210mm x 200mm (W x H x D);
  • Laser diameter: 140 µm;
